TO DO

1) Global Flavors Market: Taste Milwaukee, Taste the World (all ages)
Sunday 03/19: Milwaukee Public Museum (Westown); 11am – 3pm (free)

The best part of a farmer’s market is the free samples; you know this is true. This weekend, Outpost Natural Foods and other local restaurants and vendors will be setting up shop in the Milwaukee Public Museum for anyone and everyone to come out and try “global-inspired cuisine”. Some of the big hitters will be there, including Purple Door Ice Cream, That Salsa Lady, Chef Paz, Bel Air Cantina, and Irie Zulu.

2) 2017 Fight For Air Climb (all ages)
Saturday 03/18: Downtown US Bank Building (Eastown); 6:30am – 3pm ($15)

Love Crossfit? Glutton for punishment? Join 3500 other Milwaukeeans, including many firefighters in full gear, as they run up each and every stair in the tallest building in Wisconsin. The Fight For Air Climb is a benefit for the American Lung Association of WI and is the ultimate Saturday morning workout after a long night of drinking green beer.

3) Frozen Snot Ride 2017 (21+)
Saturday 03/18: Downtown Milwaukee; 8am – 11pm (free)

For intrepid two-wheelers, it’s never too early in spring to break out the motorcycle. This year’s Frozen Snot Ride marks the unofficial opening of motorcycle season in Wisconsin. Starting at the original Fuel Cafe in Riverwest, throughout the day the crowd will travel to Nomad World Pub on the Lower East Side before heading down to Bay View for LuLu Cafe & Bar, Frank’s Power Plant, Palomino Bar, and a last stop at the new Fuel Cafe 5th St in Walker’s Point. “Free food, drink specials and motorcycle racing on the TVs.”

NOT TO DO

1) Be anything other than Irish

Yeah I didn’t list anything to do for St. Paddy’s Day…because literally every bar in Milwaukee has something going on. Irish I had another beer!
