TO DO

1) 88Nine Block Party (all ages)
Saturday 06/24: 88Nine RadioMilwaukee (Walker’s Point); 1:30pm – 10pm (free)

Our favorite local radio station, 88Nine RadioMilwaukee, is celebrating their 10-year anniversary and you’re invited to the block party. This free event will feature local and regional musical acts, visual and performance art, and plenty of food.

2) Oriental Theatre’s 90th Anniversary Celebration (all ages)
Sunday 6/25: Oriental Theatre (East Side); 6pm – 10pm ($10)

The Oriental Theatre on the East Side was just announced this week of being managed for the next 31 years by Milwaukee Film, whose Membership Manager we’ve featured before. This year, though, the historic theater is celebrating 90 years in operation by serving cake before a big-screen showing of Casablanca.

3) Garlic Fest (all ages)
Sunday 06/25: Braise (Walker’s Point); 12pm – 4pm (free)

One of Milwaukee’s more unique festivals is back in all its garlic goodness: Braise’s Garlic Fest. Enjoy the garlic-spiced foods, garlic-infused drinks, and garlic-themed games. Best (or worst?) of all: the whole-clove garlic eating contest.

NOT TO DO

1) Stress out too much this weekend

It’s summer, kick back and relax with a nice Carlo Rossi hot-tub party.
