TO DO

1) SUMMERFEST (all ages)
All weekend: Henry Maier Festival Grounds (Third Ward); 12:00pm – 12am ($20)

It’s Summerfest, folks. If you’re not doing this, then you’re not doing Milwaukee summers right. Make sure to check out each of our breakdowns of bands to see over the next 11 days: Days 1-3, Days 4-6, Days 7-9, Days 10-11.

2) 10th Annual Burnhearts/Pabst Street Party (all ages)
Saturday 07/01: Burnhearts (Bay View); 12pm – 10pm (free)

The fabled Bay View beer bar Burnhearts throws twin block parties each year: deep-winter Mitten Fest and this weekend’s much-warmer Pabst Street Fest. Come enjoy a cold PBR with some neighbors and music. Wouldn’t you be doing that anyway this Saturday?

3) Men and Women’s Team at Lakefront 7s (all ages)
Saturday 07/01: Veterans Park (East Town); 8am – 6pm (free)

If you’ve ever driven by Veterans Park on the lakefront on a weekend, you’ve probably noticed a number of people practicing rugby. I don’t know when Milwaukee became such a hotbed for this odd sport, but this weekend you can check out some 7-a-side amateur teams play actual games in the park.

NOT TO DO

1) Get grease on your shirt while grilling

Safety first, style second. #VeraLyfe
