Saturday 08/26: Mitchell Park Conservancy (Mitchell Park); 9am – 5pm ($7)

Bats on bats on bats. Head to The Domes for a day of bat-related seminars, shows, family events, and of course the ever-present natural beauty. End the evening with the “bat science night”.

2) B93.3 Bark N Brew 2017 (all ages)
Saturday & Sunday 08/26-27: Hart Park (Tosa); 11am – 5pm (free)

Dogs and drunks, a match made in heaven. Bring your favorite pupper, doggo, or woofer to Hart Park this weekend and enjoy like-minded furry friends and companions. There’s a costume contest, look-a-like contest, best kisser, best trick, and of course the wiener dog race and pug run.

3) Straight Shots Annual Block Party & Fundraiser (21+)
Saturday 08/26: Straight Shots (Bay View); 12pm – 11pm (free)

Bay View‘s favorite neighborhood dive, Straight Shots will be serving up more than their “house wine” (Jameson) this weekend for their annual block party. Local lives bands will be kicking it while you munch on food trucks, check out local artists, throw pitches at the dunk tank, and raise money for JR’s Pups n Stuff Animal Rescue and to help with a regular’s leukemia medical bills.

1) Miss out on these last few weekends of beer garden weather

As we close out August, the summer weather is already starting to turn. But! not until we get a few more glorious rays and brews in the beer gardens about town.
