*Just in case you didn’t already have plans for the next few days (as if, you popular person, you), here’s your list of 3 things to do in Milwaukee this weekend…and 1 not to do.*

1) Miller Valley Holiday Lites (all ages)
Friday 12/16 & Saturday 12/17: Miller Brewery (4251 W State St); 4:40pm – 9pm (free)

It wouldn’t be Christmas without beer. That’s a traditional saying, right? The OG Milwaukee brewery, Miller, is throwing on the lights for the 13th year of their Holiday Lite show. Take a short tour through the brewery and finish with a spectacular light show including a tree made out of 150 beer kegs. This is also your only chance to try Frederick Miller’s Chocolate Lager.

2) White Christmas on the big screen (all ages)
Saturday 12/17: Avalon Atmospheric Theater & Lounge (Bay View); 10:30pm – 12:30pm ($5)

Avalon Theater’s majestic ceiling.

Most people have that classic film that the Christmas season just isn’t complete without watching once (or 12 times). Bay View‘s Avalon Theater has been showing some of these movies each weekend on their big screens, and this Saturday is 1954’s White Christmas. For the old or simply old-at-heart, it doesn’t get much better than two hours of Bing Crosby, now in VistaVision!

3) Competing Christmas Bar Crawls (21+)
Saturday 12/17:
12 Bars of Christmas (Downtown); 12pm – 6pm ($20)
Snow Day Bar Crawl (North Ave); 2pm – 10pm ($20)

If you’re going to brave the incoming snow storm this Saturday, you might as well be shuffling from bar to bar while doing so. The 12 Bars of Christmas returns to downtown around Water Street and Old World Third during the day, with a mug and lanyard and food/drink specials throughout. Keep right on bar-hopping once that one ends at newcomer Snow Day Bar Crawl on North Avenue.

1) Ever doubt the Packers in December

Nobody likes 4 losses in a row, but no foes like the Pack late in the year either. #WinOutOrWeOut
