Patience, perseverance, and a lowercase “k” all contributed to Eau Claire’s The Brewing Projekt finally getting their brewery and tap room open in an industrial part of town. They’ve spent that last 1+ operational years churning out some of Wisconsin’s most diverse beers in artistic tall-boys.

The outdoor beer garden space offers additional seating and softens the edges of the industrial setting.

It's a tight space inside.

Inside it seems like The Brewing Projekt, even just a year in, is already close to outgrowing the space.

Time to make friends.

Time to make friends.

But tuck in at the bar or at a table next to a new friend, and order from one of the more interesting beer portfolios you’ll encounter.

GunPowder IPA
Heavy-handed hops set against a backdrop of citrus zest.

IPZ (Bavarian Zwickelbier and American IPA)
Hop residuals after starting with a small burst of wheat-flavor.

The Stolen Mile Lemon/Basil Ale
Take the juice out of a Summer Shandy and you’re left with this beer: summer in a glass.

East Meet West Ginger Tripel
Light in color, dark in ginger spice; a danger with its high ABV.

Farmhouse Lager
Small grain taste with a big belly. Drink this to grow up big and strong.

Eauld Alliance Scotch Ale
“Caramelty”, smooth, and boozy.

Our bartender commented on the diversity of The Brewing Projekt’s beer lineup:

“There aren’t many people taking the chances we are.”

Teddy would applaud the will to keep on (drinking).

The Brewing Projekt shows no signs of slowing down; it seems no matter what obstacle gets put in their path, quality, imaginative beer still comes flowing out the door.

Mind your spell check.
