When the Green Bay Packers recently remodeled their stadium to increase the seating capacity, it meant many more thirsty mouths to fill with good local beer. With the unbelievable amount of space at Titletown Brewing Company, it seems they’re building to meet that need.

The original Depot location.

Titletown has multiple buildings taking up approx. 2 city blocks (and more on the way). It’s nearly its own town… a glorious, beer-filled town. We sat at the original 1899 Chicago & Northwestern Railroad Depot for dinner and our first beers.

Building #1: packed to the brim.

The Depot was the original brewing space for Titletown, and is now houses their restaurant and a small brewing space. It’s still focused heavily on the railroad theme.

Once one of the biggest social hubs in Green Bay.

After our delicious beer-centric dinner, we walked across the way to the newer brewing area. Atop the tall warehouse is a giant, plush rooftop bar.

Dang.

The views and brews up here are some of the best in northern Wisconsin.

Double dang.

A few levels down below the rooftop bar, we settled in for a flight.

Tap handles in the Depot feature the building’s iconic tower.

Tripel Hopped
Boozy and floral…but mostly boozy.

Hambone Maginney’s Pink Spoke Mango Blonde
A little tart, a little dry, but very juicy.

400 Honey Ale
Slightly nutty nose with a honey mouth-feel.

Dousman St. Wheat
Hefeweizen done well.

Johnny Blood Red
This is your Red baseline; judge all others by it. Slight malt, nutty, smokey.

Menage A T French Ale
Like a jelly-filled pastry: fruity and boozy.

Whereas the newer space across the lot features modern tappers.

There were hundreds of people spread throughout Titletown’s brewing complex. The scale of this microbrewery’s location is impressive; besides brewing, the buildings also play host to living, dining, and work spaces. If you’re going to name your brewery to pay homage to the success of the town’s legends, you better be founding an institution yourself. Titletown Brewing Company has that presence.

And presents.
