Greetings and Salutations,

I’d like to open by thanking all who joined us Saturday at our 2-year extravaganza. Both Kyle and I were over the moon with the number of people that showed up; we could not have imagined such an amazing turnout. I hope everyone had a fantastic time! Please let me or Kyle know of any concerns or suggestions for improvement so that next years party can be bigger and better!

For those wondering, this year’s Barcademy Award winners are as follows:

And the 2017 Member of the Year is the honorable Rick Galzerano. Cheers, Rick!

We open our third year for Welcome to Thursdays with an exciting trip to Riverwest’s Art Bar. Art Bar is a culmination of awesome local art, amazing service, and a laid-back atmosphere that lets you get comfortable and enjoy a drink or two with friends. With over 40 different beers being offered and 20 types of wine to choose from, you are sure to find something to your liking. If you find yourself overtaken by hunger there is no need to worry, as Art Bar also offers Palermo’s Pizza. Feeling competitive? Challenge a friend to pool, darts or my personal favorite: pinball!

If none of that tickles your fancy, then explore all the  local art throughout the bar, as they feature many pieces done by local artists. To get just a taste of what is on the horizon for this Thursday I attached some of my favorite pieces hanging in my private gallery.

Each Wednesday, The Squeaky Curd features a (generally) fictitious story of a Milwaukee County bar that we gather at on Thursday evening. Join us this Thursday, March 1, 2018 at Art Bar, 722 E Burleigh St, (Riverwest), at 7:30pm.*
