Greetings and Salutations,
It feels like an eternity since we last spoke, two fortnights to be exact, and yet here we are again patiently awaiting another Thursday night full of grandeur and splendor. Mel and Mel’s takeover was a huge success and I want to thank them again for their creativity and boldness to try something new. A big thank you to all the members who took time to interact with us through social media on all the polls to create quite the month for Thursdays.
With Mel and Mel’s takeover in the past, we look forward to the future as we travel to the Tied House – a new take in a classic setting (though luckily not involved with Wisconsin’s historic tied house laws). For those who remember, Tied House resides where the once great Irish Pub used to stand. With a fantastic bar and great patio area, it is sure to make great use of this space with a delicious menu, great staff, and amazing drinks. The base foundation of the Tied House lies on the strong commitment to the city of Milwaukee and their love for neighborhood bars. Family and friends and a good time are just the start of your Tied House experience. With a constantly changing, innovative cocktail menu, Welcome to Thursdays is sure to be in for a tasty evening. If you plan on bringing an appetite this Thursday, don’t worry because Tied House has an awesome selection of food that should pair nicely with whatever you decide to drink.
All in all, Welcome to Thursdays blasts its way into summertime in Milwaukee with some pretty fantastic bars. Some new and exciting things are on the horizon as we grow as a group, and I for one still agree with what I have always said: there is only one place to be on your Thursday nights. If you’re new to Milwaukee, looking for friends, or just need to get out and relax, Welcome to Thursdays has you covered one Thursday at a time.
