Greetings and Salutations,

First and foremost I want to wish you all the happiest of New Years!

As I stare out the window looking at day one of this new year, I look back on 2018 with only positive thoughts, awesome people, amazing bars, and unbelievable memories. I also look forward to 2019 where anything can happen: new friends, new bars, and undiscovered memories. This beautiful city allows people to pursue their dreams, take chances, and be daring. It can be anything, two cousins trying a new bar every Thursday night or two friends, just like the Broken Bat Brewing Company owners Tim Pauly and Dan McElwee.

Welcome to Thursdays is literally swinging for the fences in week one this year as we travel to Broken Bat Brewery in the Third Ward. Featuring locally made beers, this baseball themed brewery is likely to hit a grand slam right into our beer-loving hearts. Ranging from stouts to pilsners Broken Bat has their bases loaded when it comes to variety; and as we attempt to pick off each beer, they are likely to steal our hearts. I look forward to seeing everyone out this Thursday! I am sure that all of you shared the same New Year’s resolution as me: go to more Welcome to Thursdays and spread the word to continue being the best damn social club in all of Milwaukee!

The future is looking bright for us and we are starting things off the same way we always do, with a cold pint of something delicious and great conversation. Also, be sure to mark your calendars for the world famous Welcome to Thursdays Anniversary Party on February 23rd – more information coming soon.

Cheers my friends!

Your Co-founder and Friend,

Jeremy Blandin

Wishing you a very happy new year!
